BRASIL HIGHLIGHTS 2013!

First class photo in BRASIL! As a class we went to a museum, and at the top we took a picture of the skyline. Look past us, you can see it. However, the smog in the air makes the skyline look a more dismal than what it really is.
The Coffee Museum. Brasil is known for their coffee. It was such a large industry that they created a building strictly for the trade of coffee at the port. The museum goes through the history of the coffee production and the trade monumental moments. Also, it holds the best coffee shop inside!

At Piracicaba, USP we were learning about the Brasil economy, but mostly their agricultural department. During one of our day visits we met Fiona (the Goat). She was a crazy baby, but she loved humans. However, the momma goat....well that is a different story.

This Semi- What to say about it. My friends that joined us for that walk, we will never forget this semi, but for everyone else. Let's just say that....only survivors will get past that truck.
Our last morning. The longest, saddest but most memorable sunrise to this date! We all awoke bright and early (a few hours to early, haha) to watch the sunrise together the last time. A great morning over looking the ocean in Garuja, with some of the most awesome people.

Our language class at Piracicaba. Great class, but more amazing professors. They were exciting, and willing to teach us a language that we will most likely never use again. But the two hour long class daily, was interesting because of the teachers. I hope them the best in the future!

One day we went to the aquarium. It was interesting. Definitely not as great as the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, but definitely worth the cost to get in! At the end, we were able to feed and pet the sting rays. They are greedy little eaters - that is a for sure thing!

Well the photo kind of talks for itself. Soccer in the background with a Brasilian flag! Bam - Welcome to BRASIL!

Walking the streets one day - we found the most perfect sign!
